REFORM PROGRAMME FOR ACHIEVING THE LISBON STRATEGY GOALS
Under the renewed Lisbon Strategy, the Member States were committed to prepare the National Reform Programmes by autumn 2005. In the document Reform Programme for Achieving the Lisbon Strategy Goals, Slovenia’s Government responded to the challenges with measures geared to boosting the economic growth and employment, and to further restructuring and liberalising the economy. The Programme is based on the Slovenia's Development Strategy and was adopted on 28 October 2005.
THE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2007-2013 (NDP)
The National Development Plan 2007-2013 (NDP) will represent the planning of the whole national development policy, while providing a solid basis for the preparation of the National Strategic Reference Framework and Operative Programmes for the implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy in Slovenia in the period 2007-2013.
SLOVENIA'S DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY
Slovenia 's Development Strategy sets out the vision and objectives of Slovenia's development, including five development priorities with the corresponding action plans. At the forefront of the new Strategy is the overall welfare of every individual. Therefore, the Strategy does not focus solely on economic issues but also involves social, environmental, political, legal and cultural issues. Due to such prioritisation of the objectives, SDS also serves as Slovenia 's strategy of sustainable development. At the same time it transposes the Lisbon Strategy goals in the national setting, keeping Slovenia 's specific development opportunities and setbacks in view. The government adopted the Slovenia 's Development Strategy on 23 June 2005. |
